Lesley Enston
Lesley Enston is a recipe developer, food writer, and tester whose work has been featured in Basically, Bon Appétit, and Food52. She is a home cook of Trinidadian descent who married a Haitian, has lived in three huge Caribbean diaspora hubs—Toronto, New York, London, and back to New York again—and has made it her business to eat her way around the Caribbean in these cities. She aims to highlight the diversity and beauty of Caribbean cuisine, embrace the shared histories of all the islands and how that shapes their food culture, and introduce the food of the Caribbean to home cooks everywhere.
